The Adult Health Sciences IRB meets on the second and last Tuesday of every month at 11:00 a.m. 

• The deadline for submission of new protocols is at least 3 weeks prior to the meeting. 
  • Submitting an application by the deadline does not guarantee the application will be reviewed at the subsequent meeting. 
    • The inclusion of "Vulnerable Subject Populations" or "Special Classes of Subjects" result in additional layers of scrutiny and typically result in a more lengthy review period.
  • All applications go through an administrative screening to address areas of clarification prior to submission to the board.  This screening is designed to reduce any possible clarification requests made by the board and to ensure the application meets the basic requirements for review. 
  • All applications must be "reviewable" prior to being placed on the agenda (see attached for additional information).
• The deadline for submission for continuing review is no less than 30 days prior to the next meeting.
