Pre-Award

UMKC Sponsored Programs, Pre-Award, is dedicated to supporting UMKC faculty and staff with the development and submission of quality proposals and contracts that are both technically and administratively compliant with sponsor and campus requirements.

The goal of submitting the highest quality proposal is accomplished through a strong collaboration between researchers and research administration staff. Located in the Office of Research Services, Pre-Award staff are assigned to each UMKC Division/School/College or unit to serve as a primary point of contact and to help facilitate the overall grant process while balancing the need for institutional and sponsor regulatory compliance. We are here to help you.
