COVID-19

The Office of Research and Economic Development has created this page to provide information and guidance for you, our research community, to facilitate research continuity during the COVID-19 outbreak.

*Last updated: April 13, 2020

It is important to remember that the campus is open to faculty and staff, and we are expected to remain under normal operations. I would encourage you to check this page often for research-related updates. We will continue to monitor communications from research-related federal agencies and will communicate them to you as conditions change.

The Office of Research Services has released a communication titled Ramp Down Letter relating to the needs of the UMKC research community, and any need to restrict research activity.

We have also added information from Truman Medical Centers (TMC) and other agencies for additional information.

For UMKC campus information and announcements please refer to the UMKC news page for the latest updates and information regarding COVID-19.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.

Yusheng (Chris) Liu, Ph.D., UMKC Vice Chancellor for Research and Economic Development, Dean of School of Graduate Studies
